Rest and Digest

How you eat sets the stage for ideal digestion and assimilation of food. Before your meals, use your awareness and your breath (five-second inhale, five-second hold, seven-second exhale for a minute) to turn off the stress response and turn on relaxation. This will activate your parasympathetic nervous system and put you in a rest and digest state for increased absorption of your meal!
