As a registered therapeutic counsellor, Ken is passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult circumstances and transitions. Most often, he is supporting clients with issues related to anxiety, anger, boundaries, self-confidence, depression, grief, guilt, stress, relationships, career, cultural identity, and family dynamics.

Ken’s unique combination of life, career, cultural, and faith experiences enables him to provide a safe, judgement-free space in which clients from different walks of life can share their stories. He seeks to fully understand each client, while supporting them in taking the incremental steps needed to heal old wounds, resolve internal conflicts, reaffirm core values, and reclaim internal resources that energize and motivate. In addition to individual counselling, Ken volunteers in the community, including co-facilitating support groups for loss/grief and relational trauma.

Ken practices an integrative counselling approach, mostly drawing from person-centered therapy, while informed and guided by cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).

Graduated from the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training in 2015.
Certified by the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT).
