STEPHANIE DOERKSEN, RAc
Stephanie is a registered acupuncturist who specializes in prenatal care, women's health, and pediatrics. She works with clients to restore balance and promote healing using both the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine and up-to-date clinical evidence.
Through having two children of her own, Stephanie discovered the power of acupuncture to support a healthy pregnancy and birth. She soon began studying with leaders in this field and in 2017 became a member of the Obstetrical Acupuncturist Association.
In addition to prenatal care, Stephanie treats all types of women’s health issues, including menstrual regulation, menopause symptoms, fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal pain, and scar reduction. She also loves working with babies and children and treats issues such as colic, reflux, constipation, asthma, eczema, and anxiety. She has a variety of non-needle acupuncture techniques, which allow her to tailor her treatments to her patients' needs and comfort levels.
Acupuncture diploma received from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, BC, in 2014.

“I got acupuncture from Stephanie when I was quite ‘overdue’ to birth my third baby and getting anxious. The acupuncture helped me greatly to feel at ease, get movement within my body, and to open up with patience. I ended up having a quick, gentle home birth after a previous cesarean. Stephanie’s support was so valuable during this time.”
“Stephanie used acupuncture to treat my very painful hip bursitis. The first treatment brought immediate and dramatic improvement, and with a few follow-up sessions, the bursitis healed completely. Thank-you!”
